Airways Engineering Company was established in 1944 which acquired AAROTEC in 1987.  AAROTEC was founded in 1974, in Oklahoma, by Albert C. Young Jr. to provide consulting services throughout Oklahoma and the surrounding area. Specializing in engineering and planning services to local, state, national and international agencies. The name was changed in 1999 to the AAROTEC Infrastructure Group, Inc., (AIG) reflecting our diverse services.

Today, AIG is headquartered near Washington, D.C. with branch offices throughout the world.  Major contract management, contract negotiation, and financial management, are coordinated through this location.  Project management, engineering and design services, may be performed on location.
